Following the success of the telephony based YOU First programme and the change of government stance on performance to the single target of Customer Confidence, Procter won the contract for the design and roll out of a force wide citizen focused programme named Putting People First.

There is no doubt that Putting People First has made us think more about how we treat each other. We still haven't got it right but now everyone is talking about it no one can say they don't get it. We can all at least try to do things differently.
